Two ways to plan a Beijing stay
Choose the three-day outline for an arrival, hospital visit and departure. The five-day outline leaves room for a family outing or a follow-up visit.

Three days around a hospital visit
A sample three-day outline for one visitor and a companion.
- Arrival. Compare hotels by the journey to the correct campus, step-free access and the deadline for changing nights. Ask the driver to confirm the terminal, meeting point, luggage space and waiting charge.
- Visit day. Once the hospital confirms the time and entrance, plan a return vehicle and an interpreter for the hours you need. Agree where to meet and what happens if the visit runs late.
- Departure. Leave time for checkout and the airport transfer. If the hospital requests another visit, check room availability and change costs before extending.
Request a written itinerary with booking references, pickup contacts and interpreter hours. Hotel, transport and language support can be discussed as separate parts of your plan. The hospital confirms its own appointment and charges.
Five days with visiting family
A sample five-day outline for a family sharing a base while one person attends a visit.
- Day 1. Request rooms close together and one airport pickup sized for the group and bags.
- Day 2. Keep the group together for the first journey to the campus. Agree a nearby meeting point and give each person the hotel address.
- Day 3. If the visitor wants company, keep one companion available. Others can request a short city outing with a separate return ride.
- Day 4. Keep the morning flexible for follow-up. Before adding a guide or tickets, check the cancellation deadline and who can authorise the cost.
- Day 5. Match departures to flight times and confirm whether separate cars are needed.
Request a shared family schedule showing who travels in each car, supplier contacts and a fallback meeting point. Ask for optional outings, tickets, meals and extra vehicles to be priced separately.
Choose the practical details
Use these options to start a conversation about the stay that works for you.
- Where to stay: compare hotels, serviced apartments or family rooms by campus journey, lift access, meal options and flexible dates.
- Getting around: consider an airport transfer, a private car for visit day or taxis for shorter journeys. Share luggage and mobility needs when discussing a vehicle.
- Language support: discuss the languages, setting and hours needed for an interpreter, including whether a companion will attend.
- Family time: plan companion rooms, separate journeys or a light sightseeing outing around the visitor’s schedule.
These are planning options, with suppliers and terms chosen for each enquiry. Ask for an itemised quote covering coordination, accommodation, transport, language support and optional activities; hospital charges are separate.
